Abstract: This talk is an introduction to communication of scientific results in the form of scientific papers. We will first discuss the fact that
research requires sharing knowledge through the peer-review system to validate results in scientific communities by means of editorial and
communication processes. We will go step by step through this process. We will address the following: Scientific Writing – Preparing your
publication – Scientific Journals and Peer review system – Publishing your publication – Promoting your publication. The objective of the
workshop is that you get a broad picture of publishing and thus, can better understand how to publish papers and maximize their impact in
the scientific community
