The CIPF aims to promote a better and broader understanding of the social and cultural relevance of biomedical research. As pert of this goal, we organise a variety of activities and events where members of our scientific community, scholars from other disciplines as well as members of the public meet and engage in dialogue about science.

Part of our mandate at the CIPF is to promote interest in science, engage the next generation of researchers, and foster public awareness of the importance of biomedical research.

Since October 2020, the CIPF belongs to the Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation (UCC+i) Network as a member accredited by the FECYT in recognition of our activities in scientific dissemination, communication, outreach and training.
