In compliance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, the object of this policy is to inform the users of this website, www.cipf.es (hereinafter Website or Site), the policy regarding the treatment and protection of personal data of anyone who provides their personal data for the personalized use of the services of this website or any other act that involves communication of your personal data to the Foundation of the Valencian Community Prince Felipe Research Center (hereinafter CIPF).

Data of minors

Children under 16 may not use the CIPF’s services or communicate their data to said entity without the representation of their father, mother, guardian, or legal representative.

It is also possible that the site may submit forms to the user for completion in the case that they need to contact the CIPF.

In any case, users are informed that the personal data provided to the CIPF may be treated for the following purposes and legal bases.

Contact us

When the user completes any form published on this site, whose legal basis is the consent that the interested party expressly grants by filling in the form with their data and acceptance of the corresponding box for processing, their personal data will be processed by the CIPF to respond to the communication and request made by the user.

Sending an email to the contact addresses published on the site

When the user sends an email to the contact addresses published on the site, whose legal basis in the consent the interested party expressly grants when sending the email with their personal data, the CIPF will treat said data to handle the communication and answer the user.

Data processing for advertising purposes

The user can also request the receipt of commercial communications by the CIPF and may subscribe to the services that send said communications, made available to the user by the CIPF through this site or other means (such as specific forms or registration for events, among others).

In such cases, either when the user requests this type of mail from the CIPF through any means, or when completing any form used to subscribe to services related to the sending of commercial advertising communications, done based on the provision of legal consent of the interested party expressly granted by checking the boxes provided for this purpose or any other method established for this purpose, the user’s personal data will be processed by the CIPF to send of these commercial and advertising communications about the services and activities of the CIPF by email (to the email address (es) indicated by the user). Said communications of a commercial nature regarding the services and activities of the CIPF may consist of information about successful cases or research activity, news from the Center, activities at the Center, information about and an invitation to events organized or sponsored by the Center, or the mailing of research articles, newsletters, and Other similar information.

Sending commercial communications

In the event that a user opposes and/or revokes their consent, through any of the means enabled for that purpose, to use the e-mail to which the CIPF sends commercial and advertising communications to, as described in the previous section, based on the legitimate interest of the CIPF to guarantee the rights of the user and maintain a correct antispam policy, the CIPF will process the user’s personal data to keep the minimum essential data in order not to send commercial advertising communications.

The user is informed that any other processing purposes for the user data collected by any means through this website or the media published therein, will be explained through informative texts published in the different media and collection channels and when required, as set forth above, the user’s consent for treatment will be requested.

Personal information will only be used for limited purposes, such as those previously mentioned, and/or will not be limited to those communicated to the interested party prior to the capture and management of the data.

Registration for courses and events

When the user completes registration forms for courses and events of any nature at the CIPF, as well as when for the same purpose they send the CIPF an email to the electronic addresses published on this site enabled for this purpose, the user’s data will be processed to carry out the purpose of the application and evaluate the application according to the access requirements and registration process, where appropriate.

Sending Curriculum Vitae

When the user voluntarily sends their personal data to the email addresses enabled on this website, with the legal basis in the consent that the interested party has expressed when sending the document with personal data to the CIPF, the CIPF will process said data to store them for potential future employment offers and to contact the person interested in the job offers, recruitment, and recruitment processes in the CIPF or that may arise in the future. In any case, the processing of personal data communicated by the user in response to job offers published on this site, will be governed in a special way, by the provisions of each offer.

Recipients of the user’s personal data

The CIPF informs the user that, except for a legal obligation, no transfers or communications of their personal data to third parties are foreseen, therefore, said communication will only occur in any case, based on compliance with the applicable legal norms, to the competent public administrations by reason of the matter, in the case that the CIPF is obliged to make said communication.

In any case, the CIPF informs the user that their personal data may be processed by entities that provide the CIPF with different auxiliary services as well as support and administration tasks for their systems, through custom treatment contracts and always following the instructions of the CIPF, with due guarantees of confidentiality and security.

Exercise of rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation to treatment, portability,  and not being subject to decisions based solely on the automated processing of user data

The CIPF informs the user of the possibility of exercising their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation to processing, portability, as well as not to be subject to decisions based solely on the automated processing of their data and, where appropriate, withdrawal of the consent granted in relation to the treatments indicated in this Policy based on consent (without affecting the legality of the treatment based on the consent prior to its withdrawal), by sending a written request, indicating the right you exercise, together with a copy of your ID or valid legal identification document, to the following addresses:

Exercise of other rights in electronic commerce and commercial advertising communications

The CIPF informs users who authorize or/and expressly request the CIPF to send commercial and advertising communications by email, who have the right to revoke the consent given for the reception of commercial communications at any time with the simple notification of their wishes to the sender and to oppose the processing of their data for promotional purposes through a simple and free procedure.

For this, the user may direct the revocation of consent or opposition to the receipt of said communications by sending an email to the address privacy@cipf.es.

The CIPF will respond to your request, keeping the minimum essential data to adopt the necessary measures to avoid sending said commercial communications.

Data storage time period

The CIPF will keep the user’s data as long as the purpose and legitimate basis of the treatment is maintained and the user does not request their deletion, as well as during the deadlines established in the current regulations for the fulfilment of legal obligations and attention to possible responsibilities.

International transfers

The CIPF will not carry out international transfers of the user’s personal data to countries or international organizations.

Social networks are services provided by third-party providers that allow users to participate in a virtual community with other users through which they can generate their own public profile to create and share content, information, and personal data with other users of the network. In a social network you can create and share pages, accounts or profiles for personal and/or commercial purposes. The CIPF has profiles on some social networks such as, without limitation Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube. The user can follow us and use the CIPF’s fan pages on the official pages previously mentioned, and on the different social networks where the CIPF has a presence.

The user is informed that the treatment of the data that is carried out through the pages, profiles, or accounts of the CIPF on social networks will be governed by the corresponding policies and conditions of both the official page and the provider and owner of each social network in each case.
