Position title
Researcher R2.II - R2.II.03/2021
Description

The unit of Biological Noise and Cell Plasticity has several research lines focused on the study of cell variability, origin and consequences. The current project focus on the role of the cellular environment on mitochondrial function. Our group has identified heterogeneity in mitochondria content as an important factor for gene expression noise. For that reason, we will focus on the effect of microenvironment on mitochondria function and its impact on the resistance to antitumor therapies. The candidate will work with cells in culture and the work involves transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic analysis. Moreover, our group uses microscopy, time lapse, and high content analysis.  The candidate will work in the project from: Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación ref.: PID2019-111133RB-I00.
